About me
Therapy is tough. Whether you’re looking to break a habit, move on from a difficult relationship or process traumatic memories and ideas about who you think you are. I’m here to help.
I work in an integrative, relational way. That means I use and combine different theories and approaches to help you find the best way forward. I also believe that it’s the relationship that heals us.
While other therapists may prefer to use labels and diagnoses to identify who you are, I believe in allowing a person to define who they think they are. I believe labels are limiting and rob us of the opportunity to redefine and reimagine our lives.
Having a space to explore, challenge and navigate the most difficult parts of yourself can only be done if you trust and feel held by the person sitting in front of you. This can take weeks, months, or even years. A big focus of my work is helping lay the foundations for that trusting relationship to emerge.
While I’m based in north London, I work online with clients all over the world. I am registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), and am professionally supervised by a series of expert clinicians.
I am certified in the following fields of therapeutic practice:
Neuroscience, Attachment, and the Therapeutic Alliance.
Psychiatry, Psychopathology, and Psychodynamics.
CBT.
Time Limited Counselling.
Working with Eating Disorders.
Working with Suicide.
Working with Trauma.
